Russells Farm Cottage

The brief for Russells Farm Cottage was to extend and refurbish an existing farm cottage that was both limited in size and in need of restoration. After detailed negotiations with the local Planning Authority, it was agreed that a two storey extension would be acceptable providing it was executed to the highest standards of design and material usage. The result is a greatly improved layout which enhances, protects and preserves the existing cottage. The project was Highly Recommended in the 2006 Chilterns Design Awards.
